Site Clearance
Working alongside tree surgeons, ecologists and archaeologists, we quickly and efficiently clear a site using a range of heavy-duty machinery and tools. We’ll leave the land ready for the required purpose, and we work with both large commercial and small private clients.
Foundations
Foundations provide an essential footing for developments, ensuring that the resulting structure is strong and stable. Our experienced and highly skilled team perform excavation work to meet the exact technical specifications of the project so it’s ready for construction.
Underpinning
Underpinning is a procedure that involves adding additional support to the foundations of an existing building. Generally, this is achieved by exposing the existing foundations and then adding reinforcing materials.
Piling Mats
Reclaimed ground or soft ground may require a piling mat to enable heavy machinery such as piling rigs to operate safely. A piling mat forms a solid foundation strong enough to carry the rig so you can work without worry.
Utility Service Trenching
We install utility trenching for new water mains, gas mains or ducting for electrical cabling such as telephone lines. This includes the installation of ring mains and spurs to each property.
Sub DPC
A damp proof course (DPC) is a barrier formed by a membrane or similar. Sub-DPC is created below ground level to prevent moisture from rising and causing problems with the construction in the future.
Concrete Slabs & Oversight
Oversight is the process of sealing the ground to create a solid foundation for development. Once the oversight is complete, we pour the concrete slab to form a surface ready to walk on.

DMD Plant provides road, drive and car park development services to both large corporate and small private clients. From foundations to final construction, we offer a complete service.
Retaining Foundations and Walls
DMD Plant provides a complete retaining wall solution from excavation to installation. A retaining wall may be required if part of a building is underground or is built on a slope, with the purpose of keeping soil in place.
Drainage Installation and Repair
We can assist with sewage Installation for non-mains drainage which uses treatment plants for waste. Since a new law was passed in 2020, the Environmental Agency does not look favourably on old septic tanks. All properties should now have a proper treatment plant that meets standards for discharge.
